The film “Snap” is a live skit produced and even acted by the members of the Cyber Shield. The film takes place in a Korean household background with Jisoo being the main victim of online grooming.
The short film contains a typical yet stereotypical form of grooming, where the supposed college student Haneul takes advantage of the anonymity of the cyber world and preys on her. Not being able to live with the incredulous shame and horror, the film ends in a tragedy that sends a shocking and resonating message with the audience, shining a light on the dangers and threats of the online community.
The film Snap was produced and developed with the efforts of the Cyber Shield team, which ranged from location and actor scouting to filming and acting. It was an incredible effort building the film from the scratch from storyboarding to editing and more of each role could be read about, down below on this very page.
Please feel free to share this piece with your friends and loved ones so that you can help spread awareness about online grooming.
